Roofing materials are installed

As December comes to a close, the roofing materials are beginning to be installed.

Stone work continues on the front porch

The front porch area will have several smaller support columns leading out to the reading garden area.

Looking up... from the inside

Work on the roof structure continues. Along the walls, the steel framing to support the interior wall materials is visable.

Steel girders are lifted into place

Large cranes are called in to lift the heavy steel support beams into place.

A front porch takes shape

The south side of the library, near the entrance, will feature a front porch area overlooking the reading garden.
