Sugarmill Woods Public Presentation Well Attended

The final public meeting, held at the Sugarmill Woods County Club, was well attended. Schenkel Shultz Architecture was on hand to present the conceptual designs and plans for the new Homosassa Public Library.

At their July 12, 2005 meeting the Board of County Commissioners approved the design concept for the new Homosassa Public Library as presented by Larry Ellis and Ron Reitz from Schenkle Shultz Architecture.

Community Input at the Lion's Club

The second community input meeting was held at the Homosassa Lions Club, 3705 South Indiana Terrace, Homosassa Springs, Florida at 2pm on Tuesday, March 29, 2005.

Friends of the Library of Homosassa invited the citizens of Citrus County to this public forum to provide input regarding the building of the new Homosassa Public Library. Representatives from Schenkel Shultz Architecture were on hand to facilitate the meeting.

Second Homosassa Public Meeting Announced

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

HOMOSASSA SPRINGS, FLORIDA, March 7, 2005 – The Friends of the Library of Homosassa invite the citizens of Citrus County to a public forum to provide input regarding the building of the new Homosassa Public Library. This meeting will be held at the Homosassa Lions Club, 3705 South Indiana Terrace, Homosassa Springs, Florida starting at 2pm on Tuesday, March 29, 2005.

The site for the new library, at the corner of Grover Cleveland Blvd.and South Grandmarch Avenue, is within a mile of the Lions Club, thereby giving citizens easy access to viewing the site before or after the meeting.

In attendance to receive public input and answer questions will be representatives of Schenkel Shultz Architecture, Citrus County officials and staff and members of the Library Advisory Board and Library Friends Groups.
